Yes! Based on the inital reaction, the overall difficulty level of NEET 2025 is difficult. Candidates and experts deem it more difficult than the NEET 2024 paper.

NEET 2025 Memory-based Answer Key is available based on feedback from students who have appeared for the NEET exam. 

The NTA is expected to release the NEET Provisional Answer Key 2025 in the 2nd week of May 2025. Candidates will be given 4-5 days to challenge the provisional NEET answer keys. NTA will release the NEET Answer key code-wise, as NEET is conducted with multiple sets of question papers, each set will have a unique question paper code (e.g., 45, 46, 47, and 48). 

Since the NEET 2025 exam is being reported to be moderate to difficult, NEET 2025 cutoff is expected to decrease. The cutoff for General and EWS candidates is 50th percentile, and 40th percentile for OBS/ST/ST category candidates.

This year, the NEET 2025 question paper sets were numbered – 45, 46, 47, and 48, unlike previous years where alphabets were used.

NTA awards +4 marks for every correct answer in NEET 2025 exam. There is a negative marking of 1 mark for every incorrect answer. However, there is no marks awarded or deducted for unattempted questions. The total marks for NEET 2025 is 720.

Candidates can attempt the NEET 2025 Question Paper in 13 languages – English, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Assamese, Odia, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam. Candidates choose the medium of NEET question paper during registration and once chosen, the option cannot be changed. 

Candidates opting for English would be provided Test Booklet in English only. However, candidates opting for Hindi or any other Regional Language would be provided with a Bilingual Test Booklet in English and Hindi/Regional Language.

NEET 2025 is a three hour exam. In this duration, candidates have to answer 180 compulsory questions. NEET paper timing 2025 is from 2 PM to 5 PM. 

Compensatory time of one hour for examination of three hours (03:00 hrs) duration for PwBD Candidate [having a physical limitation to write] will be given, whether such candidate uses the facility of Scribe or not.

In separate reported incidents, parents complained that students were not allowed to carry water bottles inside the exam center despite clear NEET 2025 guidelines. In another center, parents said that candidates were allowed to enter without biometric verification due to shortage of staff and time constraint.

NTA has started conducting NEET 2025 Exam at 5453 exam centers in India and 13 cities abroad. The paper is being conducted in pen-and-paper mode using OMR sheet. NEET 2025 exam is from 2 PM to 5 PM.

NEET 2025 Difficulty level is expected to be moderate, with biology being the easiest and most scoring including 50% NCERT-based questions. Chemistry is expected to be of an easy to moderate difficulty level, with a mix of organic, inorganic, and physical chemistry. NTA conducted Mock Drills at all centers for NEET UG 2025 yesterday. 

• Action has been taken against 165 Telegram channels and over 32 Instagram accounts for spreading misinformation reported through “Suspicious Claims Portal on NEET UG 2025 Examination”.
• Action has also been takes based on media reports alleging pre-planned malpractices – offering inflated marks in exchange for money or fradulant assurances. “All State Governments are on an alert to nab any culprit who tries to indulge in unfair means.”

All NEET 2025 candidates will undergo security checks, including thermal scanning and frisking, upon entering the exam center. Cooperation with security personnel during these checks is mandatory. Female candidates will be frisked by female staff in a designated area to ensureprivacy and comfort.

Candidates wearing turbans, hijabs, or burqas must arrive early (by 12:30 PM) for security checks and ensure these were declared during the application.

A NEET score of 649 to 500 is considered to be a good score in NEET 2025. Based on previous year analysis we have provided NEET score range considered to be Very Good, Good, Average and Low Category:

Mock drills have been conducted today, a day prior to the NEET 2025 May 4 exam, across all exam centers. These drills ensure that all the centers are adequately equipped, testing the following:

• mobile signal jammers are functioning properly
• sufficient manpower for frisking
• biometric authentication process is in place.

An official from Ministry of Education (MoE) stated that, “There will be three layers of monitoring on the exam day – at the District, State, and Central level.”

• They must also carry One passport-size photograph is to be affixed on Attendance Sheet.

All University exams scheduled for May 3 has been postponed by University of Kashmir due to NEET UG 2025 exam on May 4, 2025. The university exams will be conducted on a revised date – May 17, 2025 without any change in time and venue of exam.

In view of the ensuing NEET (UG) examination 2025, it is notified for the information of all the concerned that the University examinations scheduled on 03-05-2025 stand postponed.

NEET admit card 2025 is available in online mode only, from April 30, 2025. To download the NEET 2025 admit card, you must visit the NEET 2025 website – neet.nta.nic.in. Click on the link indicating the NEET 2025 Admit Card download under the 'Candidate Activity' section. Enter the NEET 2025 Application Number and Date of Birth and the Security Pin to access the admit card. You can now download the NEET 2025 Admit Card for further use.

NTA has cracked down on 165 Telegram and 32 Instagram accounts for spreading fake news about NEET UG 2025. In the portal for reporting suspecious claims in NEET exam, NTA has received over 1,500 reports on NEET UG paper leaks, most of them linked to Telegram channels.
