NTA has started the application process for NCET 2025 on the official website. Candidates can apply for NCET 2025 till 16 March 2025

The National Testing Agency (NTA), entrusted by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), has announced the commencement of online applications for the National Common Entrance Test-NCET 2025. This examination will be conducted for admission to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP) for the academic session 2025-26. The program will be offered in selected Central/State Universities and institutions, including IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges across India.

About ITEP

The ITEP is a Dual Major Programme, designed to equip aspiring teachers with comprehensive knowledge and skills. The first major focuses on Education with School-Specific Stage Specialization, while the second major allows students to choose a discipline of their interest. This innovative programme aligns with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) to transform teacher education in India.

Key Details of NCET 2025

The NCET 2025 will be conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across 178 cities in India and in 13 mediums, ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for candidates from diverse linguistic backgrounds. The examination will be held in English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

How to Apply for NCET 2025?

Interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official NTA websites including nta.ac.in, and exams.nta.ac.in/NCET/

The application fee can be paid via Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. Candidates are advised to carefully fill in their details and ensure all information is accurate before submission.

Examination Pattern and Syllabus

Admit Cards and Results
