MHT CET 2026 CAP Round 3 Provisional Allotment Released; Check Seat Acceptance Window

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (State CET Cell), Maharashtra has released the MHT CET 2026 CAP Round 3 provisional seat allotment for First Year Engineering admissions. Candidates can now check their allotment status on the official portal at fe2026.mahacet.org.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat must complete the seat acceptance and institute reporting process between August 25 and August 28, 2026. Missing either step within the notified window may result in the forfeiture of the allotted seat.

The State CET Cell has also released the institute-wise allotment list, allowing candidates to check the college and branch allotted to shortlisted applicants. The Round 3 allotment is based on the candidate's merit number, preference order, category, and seat availability.

Candidates should complete the admission formalities within the given window. The State CET Cell has clarified that no separate extension will be granted for Round 3 seat acceptance.

1. Visit the official portal at fe2026.mahacet.org.
2. Click on the CAP Round 3 allotment status link.
3. Enter your application number and password to log in.
4. Check the allotted institute and engineering branch displayed on the screen.
5. Download and save the allotment letter for further admission formalities.

Candidates can also check the institute-wise allotment list to review the Round 3 allotment details for individual colleges and branches.

How to Accept the Allotted Seat and Report?

The seat acceptance process involves both online acceptance and physical reporting. Candidates must complete all the required steps within the announced deadline.

1. Log in to the candidate portal and pay the applicable seat acceptance fee online.
2. Download the seat acceptance receipt after successful payment.
3. Report to the allotted institute with the required original documents.
4. Complete document verification and collect the reporting acknowledgement from the institute.

• CAP Round 3 allotment letter
• MHT CET 2026 scorecard
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates
