The Maharashtra CET Cell has resolved the JEE Main 2026 score fetch issue on the MHT CET CAP portal. Candidates can now correct their applications at cetcell.mahacet.org before the July 12 2026 registration deadline.

MHT CET CAP 2026 Score Fetch Issue Fixed Correction Window Opens

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra, has resolved the JEE Main 2026 score fetch issue on the MHT CET Centralised Admission Process (CAP) portal. Candidates can now update their applications through the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org. The application correction window is currently open for the BE and BTech admission stream.

The technical glitch had prevented several candidates from fetching their JEE Main 2026 scorecard through DigiLocker into the CAP portal. The CET Cell has now restored the automatic score-fetch feature. Affected candidates must re-attempt the score fetch and finalise their application forms before the July 12, 2026 deadline.

What Has the CET Cell Announced?

The CET Cell has confirmed that the technical error preventing JEE Main score retrieval has been fixed. Candidates applying under the All India Candidature category through their JEE Main 2026 scores must use DigiLocker to submit their scorecard.

The DigiLocker score submission process is mandatory, in accordance with the guidelines issued by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The correction window allows candidates to edit important fields in their submitted application forms. Candidates can:

  • Upload missing documents
  • Update category details
  • Correct inaccurate application information
  • Complete the JEE Main score-fetch process
  • Review and finalise the submitted application

How to Fetch the JEE Main 2026 Score on the CAP Portal?

Candidates must complete the score-fetch process in two stages. The JEE Main 2026 scorecard must first be available in the candidate’s personal DigiLocker account. The CAP portal will then retrieve the scorecard directly from DigiLocker.

Follow these steps to complete the process:

  • Log in to the DigiLocker account and issue the JEE Main 2026 scorecard from the NTA section.
  • Visit cetcell.mahacet.org and open the CAP candidate login portal.
  • Go to the JEE Main score section in the application form.
  • Click on the DigiLocker fetch option and grant access when prompted.
  • Verify the auto-filled marks, percentile and JEE Main application number.
  • Save the application form and proceed to the payment or confirmation step.

Who Should Use the Correction Window?

The MHT CET CAP 2026 correction window is mainly for candidates whose application forms remained incomplete because of the earlier JEE Main score fetch error.

The facility can also be used by candidates who need to correct inaccurate entries or upload missing information in their submitted applications.

Candidates seeking admission to BE and BTech courses must carefully review all the information entered in their application forms.

Candidates applying through the All India Candidature route using JEE Main 2026 scores must revisit the JEE Main score section and complete the DigiLocker fetch process.

Candidates applying under the Maharashtra state-quota category using MHT CET 2026 scores should verify their:

  • MHT CET percentile
  • Candidate category
  • Reservation details
  • Uploaded certificates
  • Personal and academic information

Expanded Eligibility for BBA, BCA, BMS and BBM Courses

The CET Cell has also expanded the eligibility criteria for admission to BBA, BCA, BMS and BBM programmes.

Candidates with a valid MHT CET 2026 score in either the PCM group or the PCB group can now apply for these management and computer application programmes.

Earlier, eligibility was limited to candidates from specific examination groups. The revised provision allows candidates from both Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) groups to participate in the admission process.

  1. Log in to DigiLocker and confirm the JEE Main 2026 scorecard is issued.
  2. Open the CAP portal at cetcell.mahacet.org and access your form.
  3. Re-run the JEE Main score fetch and verify every field on screen.
  4. Correct any category, document, or personal detail flagged as pending.
  5. Submit the final form and download the confirmation page before July 12, 2026.
