MHT CET 2025 expected cutoffs outline the minimum marks required for admission to engineering colleges across Maharashtra. Premier colleges such as COEP Pune will have cut-offs competitive enough, with CSE being ~7,500 and Mechanical being ~45,000. VJTI Mumbai has CSE being ~9,500 and Mechanical being ~42,000, whereas PICT Pune has CSE being ~10,000 and Mechanical being ~50,000.

• Physics: It was a bit challenging with major questions asked from Kinematics, current electricity, and ray optics. There were Numerical-based questions that required more time.
• Chemistry: It was easier than the other 2 sections, as it was majorly NCERT-based and questions were from Organic and Physical Chemistry.
• Mathematics: It was a bit lengthy and difficult due to the large number of questions from Calculus, Matrices, and Probability.

As per initial student reactions, the MHT CET April 25 Shift 1 and Shift 2 PCM Exam were of a moderate difficulty level, including a balanced mix of application-based and NCERT-based questions, with Mathematics being slightly time-consuming.

• Physics: It was of moderate difficulty with a combination of conceptual and numerical questions, and mostly asked topics were mechanics and modern physics.
• Chemistry: It was of an easy to moderate level, with most questions directly asked from the NCERT, and it was less time-consuming as well.
• Mathematics: It was a bit challenging for the candidates as it required long calculations, which were formula-based, mostly involving calculus and algebra.

CET Cell Maharashtra has concluded the MHT CET 2025 April 22 Shift 1 at 12 noon. Candidates reported that overall the exam was of a moderate difficulty level, with mathematics being challenging because of lengthy and complex questions.

The State CET Cell is expected to release the MHT CET 2025 Result for both the PCM and PCB Groups in June 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can view their scores, percentile, ranks, and status on the official website.

A score of 90 corresponds to a percentile between 90-95% which places you in the top 10-15% of candidates. This score can get you a rank between 35000-50000 providing admissions to colleges like COEP, VJTI, or ICT Mumbai.

A score of 100 marks in the MHT CET exam corresponds to a percentile around 95-96% which is considered a strong score and places you in the top rankers. The expected rank will be in the range of 5,000 to 10,000. 

MHT CET 2025 PCM Exam for April 22, 2025, has started. Shift 1 is being conducted from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M

• Physics: The paper was of moderate difficulty with most questions from Electricity & Magnetism and Mechanics. Optics and Thermodynamics Numericals were most time-consuming.
• Chemistry: Mostly NCERT-based questions of moderate level. Questions such as Organic Chemistry (Alcohols, Ethers) and Inorganic Chemistry (Coordination Compounds) were majorly asked according to the candidates.
• Mathematics: The paper was moderately challenging but was long with a mix of questions in Vectors, Algebra, and Calculus.Few long questions, particularly Integration, were problematic to control the time for the candidates.

Candidates reported that the overall difficulty of the MHT CET 2025 PCM April 21 Shift 2 was moderate, with Physics and Chemistry being relatively easier than Mathematics.

• Chemistry: It was mostly NCERT-based, with the main focus on Organic chemistry and chemical bonding, majorly asked along with a few questions from equilibrium, as well, it was comparatively easier.
• Mathematics: It was of a moderate difficulty level, with the main focus on algebra and calculus questions. It has a majority of long problem-solving questions, which were difficult for students.

Overall, the MHT CET 2025 PCM April 21 Shift 1 exam was moderately difficult, with mathematics being the longest and time-consuming, and chemistry being the easiest

MHT CET 2025 question paper consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) totaling 200 marks divided in 4 sections, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Zoology, Botany) and 50 questions in each subject.

MHT CET 2025 April 16 exam is being conducted in shift 1 from 9:00 A.M. till 12:00 P.M. The exams are ongoing for PCB Group for Pharmacy.

• Biology: Was comparatively easier with NCERT-based questions with emphasis on Plant Diversity, Cell Biology, and Cell Division.​
• Physics: Was Moderate to Difficult with topics like Kinetic Theory of Gases, Radiation, Oscillations, and Atoms & Nuclei were prominent.​
• Chemistry: It was Moderate with a focus on Chemical Thermodynamics, Energetics, and Coordination Compounds.​

MHT CET 2025 April 15 exam’s overall difficulty level was Moderate; students found the paper was balanced but Shift 2 was slightly more challenging than Shift 1 today. Physics and Chemistry sections required more time but Biology was comparatively quicker.

CET Cell is conducting the MHT CET 2025 April1 5 shift 2 exam from 2 PM to 5 PM.

Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark, while there is no negative marking for wrong answers in MHT CET 2025 PCB exam.

MHT CET 2025 April 15 Shift 1 for PCB group is ongoing from 9 Am to 12 Noon. Shift 2 will be held from 2 PM to 5 PM.

MHT CET exam will be conducted in in two shifts – 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. It is held in two parts:

• MHT CET 2025 PCB (Pharmacy) exam is scheduled from April 9, 2025 to April 17, 2025
• MHT CET 2025 PCM (Engineering) exam is from April 19, 2025 to April 27, 2025

The MHT CET 2025 results are expected to be announced in June 2025. 

There is no MHT CET 2025 PCB exam scheduled on April 14, 2025. The next exam will be conducted on April 15, in two shifts.

Candidates reported that MHT CET 2025 April 13 Shift 1 and 2 papers were moderately difficult. There was a balanced mix of direct NCERT-based questions and moderate-level application-based questions.

• Biology was easier than shift 1, as it was mostly NCERT Questions without many tricky questions.
• Physics contained a mix of formula-based and conceptual numerical-based questions.
• In chemistry, the organic chemistry contained direct questions, and inorganic chemistry contained most of the numerical-based questions.

The overall difficulty level of MHT CET 2025 April 12 shift 2 was slightly easier than shift 1, as most of the questions were straightforward and concept-based.

• Biology remained NCERT-based, but some questions, particularly from Ecology and Biotechnology, were somewhat confusing and a little tricky for the students.
• Physics was slightly difficult today as compared to April 11, with an increase in the application-based as well as the multi-step numerical questions from areas such as Rotational Motion and Thermodynamics.
• Chemistry had a mix of moderate and tricky questions, with greater importance given to Organic Chemistry and few direct questions from Physical Chemistry.

The overall difficulty of the MHT CET 2025 12th April Shift 1 PCB paper was of a moderate to slightly difficult level compared to other shifts. Time management was more difficult today since Physics needed more calculations and Biology was a bit long in some sections.

• Biology was a bit lengthier, with more MCQ-based match the following questions mostly from NCERT.
• Physics exam was of moderate to difficult level with more calculation- based questions which required quick calculations.
• Chemistry was moderate, with most questions from Organic Chemistry and chapter questions such as Coordination Compounds.

The overall difficulty level of MHT CET 2025 April 11 Shift 2 was moderate, similar to Shift 1, with no major changes in the exam. The paper was well-balanced without any out-of-syllabus questions; the question pattern was also the same as in previous years.

• Biology was the most time-consuming section due to the long questions.
• Physics included both theory and numerical questions, with more application-based rather than formula-based questions.
• Chemistry was relatively easier, with straightforward questions being mostly from Organic Chemistry and rudimentary Physical Chemistry.

Overall paper difficulty was moderate for MHT CET 2025 April 11 Shift 1 as per trends expected in the PCB Exam. In general, students felt that time management was important due to the long questions in Biology.
