MGM University is inviting applications for its PhD program for the January 2026 session. Interested candidates can apply through the official website of MGMU at (mgmu.ac.in) by December 20, 2025. Candidates must pay the online registration fee of INR 5,000 for the MGMU PET December 2025.

MGM University offers a PhD in various disciplines, including Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Microbiology, Journalism and Mass Communication, Plant Breeding and Molecular Genetics, Social Work, Urdu, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Information Technology, Chemistry, and more.

The candidates who have completed their master's degree or equivalent to the master's degree from recognised institutions with at least 55% marks in aggregate are eligible for a PhD at MGMU. The Doctoral programme at MGMU will be of a minimum of three years duration, including coursework, and a maximum duration of six years.

The selection of the candidates will be based on the entrance test conducted by the MGM University, with a weightage of 70% for the entrance test and 30% for the performance in the interview/ viva-voice.
