MDI Gurgaon MBA Admission for Batch 2026-28 Begins; Check Details Here

Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon has officially announced the opening of applications for its two-year Post Graduate Diploma in Management programs for the academic session 2026-28.

The admission process covers PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGDM-IB, and PGDM-Business Analytics at MDI Gurgaon, along with the PGDM program at MDI Murshidabad.

Applicants are required to take the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 to be eligible, while NRI and foreign applicants can apply through GMAT scores. The registration window for MDI applications will remain open until November 28, 2025.

MDI Gurgaon MBA Application Process for 2026-28 Batch

MDI Gurgaon has opened the online application process for its PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGDM-IB, and PGDM-Business Analytics programs for the 2026-28 batch. Interested candidates can apply through the official website mdi.ac.in.

The application fee has been set at ₹3,000 (inclusive of 18% GST) for one or more programs at MDI Gurgaon. Applicants seeking admission to both MDI Gurgaon and MDI Murshidabad will need to pay ₹3,590 (inclusive of 18% GST).

For NRI, foreign nationals, Gulf Quota, and OCI applicants, the fee is ₹8,496 (inclusive of 18% GST).

MDI has clarified that a single unified application form will be available for all programs, allowing candidates to select multiple programs in one submission.

Eligibility Criteria for MDI Gurgaon MBA 2026

To secure admission into MDI Gurgaon’s PGDM, HRM, IB, and Business Analytics programs for the 2026 batch, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both Class X and XII.
• Bachelor’s degree (3 years minimum for PGDM, HRM, and Business Analytics; 4 years for PGDM-IB) with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Candidates appearing in the final year can also apply, provided they submit proof of graduation by October 31, 2026.
• For PGDM-IB, applicants must have at least 1 year of work experience as of January 31, 2026.
• CGPA to percentage conversion will follow the university norms or MDI’s equivalence formula.

If you meet these eligibility criteria, you are good to go to register for the MDI admission process.

Once registered, shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in the Written Analysis Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interviews (PI), scheduled between February and April 2026 at centers in Bengaluru, Gurugram, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Mumbai.

The final selection will take into account multiple factors mentioned in MDI Gurgaon’s revised selection criteria for MBA Admission 2026, including CAT 2025 performance, WAT-GD-PI scores, Behavioral Assessment Test (carrying 5% weightage), academic merit and diversity, as well as work experience and social diversity.

However, for NRI and foreign candidates seeking admission to MDI Gurgaon’s 2026-28 MBA programs, they can apply using valid GMAT scores. Shortlisted applicants will be called for personal interviews in April 2026.

The institute will follow the Government of India guidelines while determining the eligibility of these applicants.
