Manipal University PhD Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who have qualified for a PG degree from any University recognized by UGC, with not less than 55% marks, or a CGPA of 5.5 and above on the 10-point scale, are eligible to register for PhD in MUJ
- SC/ST candidates are eligible for a 5% exemption from the prescribed minimum marks
Note: The candidates who are NET/SLET/JRF/GATE/ M.Phil. qualified or are Teacher Fellows, will be exempted from the written test.

Manipal University PhD Financial Assistance Scheme
Dr. Ramdas Pai PhD Scholarship: The scholarship is given on a completion basis and as per merit. Scholarship details are given below:

Academics Assistance Scholarship: The selection is based on MUJ criteria. Eligible scholars will get a scholarship of INR 20,000-30,000 per month.
