For most UG and Diploma courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 with relevant subjects (Science/PCB/PCM) and a minimum of 35% to 45% marks. Admission is primarily based on the MGUG Combined Entrance Test (CET), followed by merit-based counseling. The PG eligibility is a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum score 45%. The application fee is ₹1,000.

For the 2026-27 session, the university emphasizes that no admission will be granted without appearing for the CET, except for the BAMS program, which requires a valid NEET UG score.
