The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has announced Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Class 12 results today, May 5, 2025. This year, the pass percentage has decreased to 91.88 as compared to last year, which was 93.37 percent. The MSBSHSE board conducted the board exams for HSC Class 12 between February 11 and March 11, 2025. You can click the link below to check the Maharashtra HSC 2025 result.

To check the Maharashtra HSC results 2025, candidates will be required to log in to using their Seat number and Mother’s First name. Colleges will be able to access consolidated results on mahahsscboard.in with the required college log-in.

Candidates who have appeared for the HSC Class 12 examination have until May 20 to apply for verification of marks and re-evaluation.

Maharashtra HSC Result Statistics
In 2025, the Maharashtra HSC passing percentage is 91.88 percent.
- Konkan is the highest among all divisions with 96.74 percent
- Latur is the lowest with 89.46 percent.
If we look at the results gender wise, we can see that the girls have performed better than the boys.
- The passing percentage of girls is 94.54 percent
- The boys' passing percentage is 89.51 percent.

Category Wise Maharashtra HSC Result
A total of 10,496 colleges participated in the Maharashtra board HSC exam. Out of these, 1,929 colleges recorded a 100 percent pass percentage.
- As many as 38 colleges have a 0 percent pass percentage.
- No student has scored 100 percent marks in the Maharashtra Class 12 HSC result.
- As many as 4,500 students have scored above 90% marks.
- A total of 7,310 students with disabilities registered for the exam, out of which 7,258 appeared and 6,705 passed the exam, recording a passing percentage of 92.38 percent.
- 42,388 repeaters registered for the exam, of which 42,024 appeared and 15,823 passed the exam, recording a passing percentage of 37.65 percent.
- 36,133 private candidates registered for the exam, out of which 35,697 appeared and 29,892 passed. The pass percentage for private students this year is 83.73%.
