New Delhi: Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has released the provisional seat matrix for the B.Sc Nursing course in Government/Government aided/corp./private/Minority colleges for the first round. The authority has reported a substantial number of vacant seats for the first round of BSc Nursing admissions in the state. According to recent data, approximately 6000 seats are vacant for the first round of the B.Sc Nursing course.

Maharashtra BSc Nursing seat distribution is divided into government and private colleges which includes 250 seats in government colleges and 5750 in private colleges. 5 institutions falling under the government category and 117 under private.

As per the information from the Institute/MUHS, Nashik/Order of Hon’ble courts/State/Central Government, the seat position is subject to change. The authority may change this seat position before the allotment of Seats in CAP rounds. The allotment will occur after receiving affiliation from MUHS, Nashik, or the relevant council

For admission to the B.Sc Nursing courses through MH-Bsc Nursing-CET 2023, the seats available will be from Maharashtra State Government and all other private/ Minority institutes situated in Maharashtra. The seat will be filed by the candidates from the state merit list.

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) has been established by the government of Maharashtra under admission regulation authority as per the provision in section 10 of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professiona; Education Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fees) Act, 2015.
