The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Government of Maharashtra has released the Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test (MAH MBA CET) Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2026 Round 4 vacant seat list on the official portal at mba2026.mahacet.org.in. Candidates who remain unallotted or wish to opt for a better seat can now fill the option form for the fourth and final CAP round.

The option form submission window opened on August 29, 2026 and will close on August 31, 2026. The Round 4 seat allotment result is scheduled for release on September 3, 2026. This round covers MBA and MMS seats across more than 300 participating institutes in Maharashtra.

Who Can Participate in Round 4?

Round 4 is open to all eligible candidates whose CAP registration and document verification stand confirmed. Three categories can fill the option form in this round.

  • Candidates who were not allotted any seat in Rounds 1, 2, or 3.
  • Candidates who were allotted a seat but did not accept or report against it.
  • Candidates who accepted an earlier allotment but wish to seek a better option.

Candidates opting for betterment must remember that the Round 4 allotment is final. Any new seat allotted in this round cannot be exchanged or reverted.

How to Check the Round 4 Vacancy List?

The college-wise vacant seat list is available on the official CAP portal. Follow these steps to view the list.

  1. Visit the official portal at mba2026.mahacet.org.in.
  2. Click on the link titled Round 4 Vacant Seats.
  3. Select the desired institute, course, and category from the filter.
  4. View the number of seats vacant under each quota.
  5. Download or save the list for reference before filling the option form.

How to Fill the MAH MBA CET CAP Round 4 Option Form?

Candidates must log in with their CAP application credentials to submit fresh preferences for Round 4.

  1. Log in at mba2026.mahacet.org.in using the application number and password.
  2. Open the Round 4 option form filling link on the dashboard.
  3. Add and prioritise college and course choices from the vacant seat list.
  4. Review the preference order carefully before final submission.
  5. Submit the option form and save the confirmation page.
Why This Round Matters

Round 4 is the last centralised chance to secure a CAP seat. After September 3, remaining vacancies move to the institute-level round. Candidates lose the state-level allotment advantage once this window closes.
