MAH MBA CET CAP 2026 Round 3 Seat Allotment Out; Check Steps for Seat Acceptance

The State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell), Maharashtra has declared the Maharashtra Common Admission Process (CAP) Round 3 seat allotment result for the MBA and MMS 2026-27 session. The institute-wise allotment list is now live on the official portal at mba2026.mahacet.org.in.

Candidates allotted a seat in Round 3 must complete online seat acceptance and report to the allotted institute between August 25 and August 27, 2026. The window applies to both stages of the process. Missing the deadline will lead to cancellation of the allotment.

Round 3 is the final regular CAP round for MBA and MMS admissions in Maharashtra. Candidates who do not accept their allotted seat will lose their claim in the process. Vacant seats after this round will move to the institute-level round.

Candidates can view their allotted institute and course on the official CAP portal. The result is available through the candidate login and the institute-wise list.

1. Visit the official portal at mba2026.mahacet.org.in.
2. Click on the CAP Round 3 seat allotment link on the homepage.
3. Enter your application ID and password to log in.
4. View the allotted institute, course, and category on the screen.
5. Download and save the allotment letter for future reference.

How to Accept the Allotted Seat Under CAP Round 3?

Allotted candidates must log in to the CAP portal and confirm their seat within the acceptance window. The process is fully online and requires payment of the admission fee where applicable.

1. Log in to the CAP portal using your application credentials.
2. Open the seat acceptance link for CAP Round 3.
3. Read the allotment details and confirm the acceptance option.
4. Pay the required admission fee through the online payment gateway.
5. Download the seat acceptance receipt for your records.

What Documents Are Required at the Time of Reporting?

Candidates must carry a set of originals and self-attested copies to the allotted institute. The list below covers the standard documents required.

• CAP Round 3 allotment letter and seat acceptance receipt.
• MAH MBA CET 2026 or CAT / CMAT / XAT / GMAT / MAT scorecard, as applicable.
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and passing certificates.
• Qualifying degree mark sheets and provisional or degree certificate.
• Domicile certificate, caste certificate, and non-creamy layer certificate, if applicable.
• Aadhaar card, PAN card, and recent passport-size photographs.
