MAH B.HMCT CET 2020: Examination Tips & Tricks
Students should have a clear mindset and plan for the exam. Listed below are some tips that a candidate should keep in mind to score better.
- Go Through the Exam Instructions Carefully: In competitive exams, candidates start attempting the questions without reading the initial instructions carefully. They tend to wind up the test as soon as possible. But sometimes, candidates fail to score well due to negligence of crucial instructions such as weightage of questions, negative marking, etc. So read the instructions carefully before starting the exam.
- Time Management: Students must be keeping a check on time. If a question is taking too much time, candidates must proceed with the next question. There is a certain ideal time frame for every question. Students must stick to them and manage their time efficiently.
- Revision of Major Topics: Before the commencement of the exam, students must revise the most important topics and concepts. Also, the revision must take place early in the morning. Sleep early at night and wake up early in the morning for revision instead of staying awake at night for revision.
- Art of Attempting Questions: Questions that apply basic and easy concepts must be attempted in the beginning. This will leave you with ample time with the tricky questions. Instead of covering the ideal time in solving easy questions, spend more time on solving complex problems.
- Carry all the required documents: Ensure that you are carrying the required documents like admit card (hall ticket), photo ID.
- Take Necessary COVID precautions: During these times, take necessary precautions related to COVID 19. Candidates must follow some of the basic guidelines such as wearing a mask, carrying alcohol-based sanitizer, and maintaining social distancing. Apart from this, it is advisable to carry your separate water bottle.
