New Delhi: Madras University has begun the application process for admission to its Postgraduate, PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate courses for the academic session 2023-24. Interested and eligible candidates can enroll for PG, PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate courses Admission through the official portal, @unom.ac.in. till June 30, 2023.

Madras University offers PG, PG Diploma, Diploma and Certificate courses in the field of sciences, social sciences, humanities, management, and medicine.

Madras University Admission 2023 to the PG Admission will be on the basis of entrance examination conducted by the university. However, MBA and MCA Admission will be based on the TANCET.

Madras University Admission 2023: Eligibility & Selection Criteria

Candidates seeking admission to the Madras University programmes, candidates will have to meet the requisite eligibility & selection criteria.

PG Courses
M.A, M.Com, M.Sc, LLM	Aspirants must hold a B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, LLM degree in relevant stream.	Selection will be done on the basis of qualified scores secured in the entrance tests conducted by the university.
M.Tech	Candidates having an M.A/M.Sc degree with Geography or 10+2 with Mathematics/ Statistics or B.E degree in Civil Engineering or any Information Technology related streams from a recognised university are eligible.	Selection will be done on candidate's performance in TANCET & students whose scores have exceeded the cutoff percentile demanded by the university
MBA, MCA, M.Ed, M.Lib.Sc, EMBA	Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline to be eligible. However, for an Executive MBA, candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree with 55% marks in aggregate in any stream.	Selection for M.Lib.sc, will be done on the basis of merit secured in the last qualifying examination. For MBA, MCA courses, the selection will be done based on performance in TANCET & students whose scores have exceeded the cutoff percentile demanded by the university
MSW	Candidates having a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university & together with the right aptitude for the Social work profession will be eligible.	Selection will be made based on merit secured in the last qualifying examination.
PG Diploma	A Bachelor’s Degree, in any discipline from a recognized University	Selection will be done on the basis of qualified scores secured in the entrance tests conducted by the university.
Diploma	Passed +2 from any recognized board as equivalent and above from this University or from any other University recognized as equivalent. For Some Courses: A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University (3 YEARS Duration)in any discipline	Selection will be done on the basis of qualified scores secured in the university entrance tests..

Step 2: On the homepage, search for “Admission open for Post Graduate, PG diploma, Diploma and Certificate Programmes for the Academic Year 2023-2024”, and register yourself by entering all the required details.

Step 3: Now, use your registration credentials to log in and fill the application form.

Step 4: Pay the requisite application fee and preview the application form to proceed.

Step 5: Next, click on ‘Submit’ and complete the application process. You can take a printout of the same for all your future references.

Note: For Professional Courses: MBA - Regular & Self Supportive course (2 Years) & MCA (2 Years) –Admission will be done through Single Window System by Department of Technical Education, Guindy, Chennai-600 025.
