A final-year student at Lovely Professional University (LPU) has received India's largest-ever domestic placement package, marking a watershed event in the country's academic and corporate scene. Sri Vishnu, a B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering student, has been given an annual salary of INR 2.5 crore by a major Robotics and Automation company, breaking previous placement records at India's best colleges.

Sri Vishnu's Remarkable Academic Journey

Sri Vishnu's path is a remarkable example of perseverance and commitment. Growing born in a tiny village in Tamil Nadu, and losing his parents at an early age, he endured numerous personal and financial difficulties. Despite these difficulties, his unwavering determination to make a difference motivated him to pursue his goals. Vishnu, with the help of his grandma, concentrated on creating a brighter future.

During his stay at LPU, he completed three foreign internships in Singapore, Japan, and the United States, broadening his viewpoint and fueling his interest in robotics. Vishnu reflected on his achievements, saying, "It is a privilege to be an LPU student. It's not just about getting a job; it's about always growing and realizing your full potential. I attribute much of my success to LPU's infrastructure, instructors, and the opportunities and assistance they gave."

LPU's Placement Record

The year 2025 has been extremely fruitful for LPU's placement records. The table below provides information on the top three highest placements of LPU.

The previous placement season was equally impressive, with industry giants offering attractive compensation packages. Among the highest-paying companies, Palo Alto Networks led with INR 54.75 LPA, followed by Nutanix at INR 53 LPA and Microsoft at INR 52.20 LPA.
