Kumaun University has released the schedule for the third round of counseling for PhD admissions of academic session 2025 for the students who have passed the Combined Entrance Examination 2024(CPET). After this counseling, the vacant seats will be filled in the order of preference by the candidates present from the waiting list on the same day.
The Selection list and Waiting list of the candidates qualified for the second counseling are being uploaded on the Samarth portal and the website of Kumaon University.

KU PhD Round 3 Counseling Details 2025
It will be mandatory for all the candidates to bring the interview call letter (issued at the time of the interview) for counseling. Candidates can go through the table to learn the schedule and details about the counseling process at Kumau University:

Note: If waiting list candidates do not report within the stipulated time, the candidature will be considered automatically canceled.
KU PhD Round 3 Counseling Documents Required 2025
All candidates will have to present the original copies of the following certificates along with self-attested photocopies at the time of counseling:
- All educational certificates.
- Valid certificate issued by Uttarakhand Government related to reserved category. (Compulsory for candidates availing the benefit of reserved category)
- Uttarakhand State PhD Original documents related to exemption for exempted candidates in Combined Entrance Examination-2024 such as JRF/G.Pet/GATE/M.Phil. Inspire/etc will be mandatory.
- No objection certificate for teacher candidates from their respective campus/college.
Note: At the time of counseling, if any discrepancy is found in the original certificates of the candidate, then the result of the candidate will automatically be considered canceled.
