ICMR is a premier platform facilitating many groundbreaking research and theories.

New Delhi: KIIT School of Management (KSOM) conducted its fourth International Conference on Management Research (ICMR) earlier this week, from February 22-23, 2024.

The conference has witnessed over 150 abstracts and about 100 full papers throughout the globe. Among these, 70 papers were presented during the conference.

In a wide range of fields, including business management, marketing, finance, economics, technology, decision science, human resources, and organizational behavior, ICMR is a leading forum for exchanging ground-breaking theories, creative research findings, and influential insights.

Prof. Tapan Panda, Pro-VC, KSOM, & KSRM, opened the meeting with a welcome speech. Prof. K. K. Ray, KSOM, Conference Convenor, then provided background information. Mr. Ramesh Chandra Joshi, Director (Finance), Nalco Ltd., gave the keynote talk, and Prof. Saranjit Singh, VC, KIIT-DU, gave the conference address. Prof. Saranjit Singh unveiled the Book of Abstracts.

The panel discussion was moderated by a seasoned journalist, Dr. Mrinal Chatterjee, with an interest in sustainability. Shri Ramesh Chandra Joshi in his speech mentioned that the future of management must be shaped by sustainability, diversity, and inclusivity. He emphasized that to maintain resilience and competitiveness, organizations must adopt these ideas.

On the second day of the conference, speakers from all around the world gave papers on a range of topics. The papers covered topics such as Empowering Marginalized Communities, Sustainable Business Practices & Green Initiatives Organizational Culture and Environment-Social-Governance, Ethical AI and Technology & Stakeholder Engagement, and Circular Economy & Environmental Sustainability.

Prof. K. K. Ray, ICMR 2024 Convenor, gave the vote of thanks. Future academic and industry endeavors will benefit from the platform that the International Conference on Management Research 2024 demonstrated to be for insightful conversations, teamwork, and meaningful exchanges.
