K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering (KJSCE), Mumbai, has released the detailed fee structure for the 2026 academic year. It is covering both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs as per the guidelines of the Fees Regulating Authority (FRA), Mumbai.

For the UG engineering programs, the total academic fee for the entire course has been determined to range between ₹15.12 lakhs to ₹21.98 lakhs. This fee is inclusive of tuition and development fees and accounts for variations based on factors such as the branch of study and sanctioned student strength.

The institution proposed a tuition fee of ₹1,79,876 per student annually, with an additional development fee component.

After applying various accreditations and quality improvement credits, the final total fee per student stands at around ₹2,06,857 for the academic year 2026.

The fees also consider reductions from less income generated from other heads, such as examination fees and consultancy income. Moreover, the institution has submitted the requisite undertakings on stamp paper to comply with regulatory requirements.

In the PG program, the fee structure is considerably lower, with the total academic fee around ₹1 lakh, reflecting the shorter duration and different resource needs of master's level education. The PG fee has been proposed at approximately ₹61,144 annually after factoring in tuition and development fees, accreditation credits, and financial calculations based on a smaller student batch of about 72 students.

The official fee notification also covers details on usage charges for college infrastructure, depreciation on assets, and excludes hostel expenses, which are optional and payable separately based on student choice.

The fee structure aligns with KJSCE’s standing as a reputed institution, approved under the Somaiya Vidyavihar University, and recognized by relevant educational councils.
