The K J Somaiya School of Engineering (KJSCE) has begun its application portal for the B.Tech academic session 2026-27. Aspiring engineers can now apply for various undergraduate programs. Candidates are encouraged to complete their registrations early to participate in the multiple selection rounds.

KJSCE's early Scholarship Application Round allows candidates to apply based on multiple national and state-level entrance exam scores. The institute began accepting forms on January 20, 2026, and it will continue to accept them until the deadline of May 5, 2026. Following the closure of the application portal, the institute will process the data and is scheduled to announce the results on May 10, 2026.

The university requires a non-refundable application fee of ₹2,000. This payment must be completed through the official online admission portal to successfully register for the selection process.

KJSCE B.Tech Admissions 2026 Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission, a candidate must fulfill the following:

Educational Qualification: Must have passed the HSC (10+2) or equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
Mandatory Subjects: Along with Physics and Maths, the candidate must have one of the following: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or a Technical Vocational subject.
Minimum Marks: A minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) in the above subjects.
Entrance Exam: The candidate must have appeared for at least one of the following exams and obtained a non-zero score:
- MHT-CET 2026
- JEE-Main (Session 1 or 2) 2026
- SAT 2025/2026
- PERA-CET 2026
- CUET (UG) 2026

KJSCE B.Tech Admissions 2026 Selection Process

Merit-Based Shortlisting: The college will prepare a merit list based on the scores obtained in the qualifying entrance examinations and the candidate's branch preferences.
Provisional Allotment: Selected candidates will receive a provisional seat offer via their registered email.
Seat Confirmation: To secure the seat, the candidate must pay the requisite fee before the specified deadline.
Document Verification: Final admission is subject to the physical verification of original documents and eligibility fulfillment.
