Candidates seeking admission to the PG diploma course at Kerala University must meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:
- Candidates having a first-class MSc. Degree in Biotechnology, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genomic Sciences, Agriculture, Veterinary Sciences, Fisheries Sciences, Pharmacy or M.Tech. in Biotechnology or Post Graduate Degree in any branches of Life Sciences, Medical Sciences or equivalents
- Minimum of 50% marks for SC/ST candidates

Kerala University PG Diploma Admission Procedure
- Interested candidates must submit the completed application form, which can be downloaded from the official website (keralauniversity.ac.in).
- The application fee of INR 250/- and the registration fee of INR 500/- (total INR 750/-) must be paid by Demand Draft (DD).
- DD should be issued in favour of “The Hon. Director, Inter University Centre for Genomics and Gene Technology (IUCGGT), University of Kerala, Kariavattom,” payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
- Alternatively, payment can be made via Google Pay to account number 42511577611 in favour of the same.
- Mention the purpose of remittance and the applicant's name on the backside of the DD or in the payment reference.
- Complete application forms with attested copies of mark lists (all examinations/ semesters) should be submitted to:

- The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Applications without the required fees will be rejected.
Kerala University PG Diploma Important Instruction
- The Advanced PG Diploma Course shall be open to Master’s Degree holders in any of the Biological Sciences with first-class, relaxation being allowed to SC/ST candidates.
- The applicants should enclose certified copies of their certificates, mark lists and two Passport-size photographs along with their applications.
- Two seats will be reserved for employees in stipulated areas as mentioned in the admission notification.
- The employees seeking admission to this course should forward their applications through the employer specifying the details of their service.
- Before finalising the list, an entrance test will be held and 50% of marks will be given for the test.
- The interview will be conducted by IUCGGT, University of Kerala and the final list will be published.
- Registration fee should be remitted along with the application form.
