KEAM 2024: Third Phase Allotment for MBBS and BDS Courses Released

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) in Kerala has now declared its third allotment list for admission to the MBBS and BDS courses for 2024-25.This list will include state quota seats in Government and Private Self-Financing colleges. It is available on the official website of CEE. The move follows complaints on provisional lists released on 16 October 2024.

Key Instructions to Allotted Candidates:

• Fee Payment & Admission Window:

• Allotted candidates need to deposit the required fee to join the allotted college between October 19 and October 23, 2024 upto 4:00 PM.
• The refund will be done in case the amount paid in earlier rounds is higher than the allotment fee.
• The fee payment options available are to deposit the fee in Head Post Offices in Kerala and also through the online option, to be accessed through the CEE portal.

• Exemptions:

Candidates from SC/ST/OEC/Fishermen categories, as well as those eligible for concessions under special government orders, are exempt from paying fees unless they are allotted seats under the Minority/NRI quota in self-financing colleges, in which case full fees will apply.

Admission Guidelines:

• Joining Requirement:

1.   All candidates must join their allotted course/college by 4:00 PM on October 23, 2024. Failing to do so will result in cancellation of the allotment and loss of higher options in the concerned stream. 
2. Candidates who do not join may also face liquidated damages as per clause 12.2.4(a)(ii) of the KEAM 2024 prospectus.

• NRI Quota: 

1. NRI candidates who did not submit their required documents before October 15, 2024, have lost their NRI quota claims.

Stray Vacancy Allotment:

• If seats remain vacant after the third phase, a Stray Vacancy Allotment will be conducted.

• Candidates who have accepted seats in the third phase or exited after October 15, 2024, will not be eligible for stray vacancy allotment.

• Candidates holding seats under the All India quota will also be ineligible to participate in the stray vacancy round.

Fee Details:

Candidates allotted MBBS seats in Self-Financing Colleges must pay the fee approved by the Fee Regulatory Committee. For BDS courses, students will initially pay the fee applicable for the 2023-24 academic year until the final fee structure for 2024-25 is announced.
