The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 is set to begin on April 22, 2026, and lakhs of Karnataka engineering and pharmacy aspirants must now focus on final exam day preparations. Conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), KCET 2026 will be held across multiple days at designated centres across Karnataka.
With the exam just days away, students must be fully aware of the reporting time, dress code, prohibited items, and other critical guidelines issued by KEA at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. A well-prepared exam day approach can make a significant difference in performance.

KCET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines
- Download KCET 2026 admit card from cetonline.karnataka.gov.in and carry a printed copy
- Report to the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the exam start time; gates close 10 minutes before the exam
- Bring one government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar card, PAN card, or passport)
- Wear light, comfortable clothing; avoid clothes with large buttons, badges, or embroidery
- Blue/black ballpoint pen, admit card, and ID proof are the only permitted items
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators, and Bluetooth devices are strictly prohibited

Important Instructions for KCET 2026 Candidates

KEA has also warned that strict action will be taken against unfair practices, with CCTV surveillance and monitoring at all centres.
Note: KEA has made it clear that candidates found using unfair means will be disqualified and may face legal action. All exam centres will have CCTV surveillance and flying squads for monitoring.
