KEA has released the final engineering seat matrix and fee structure for KCET 2026 on its official portal. Candidates can now check institute wise seats and fees before option entry continues for the first counselling round.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 final engineering seat matrix on the official portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The notification was issued on June 30, 2026, along with the official fee structure for engineering and architecture courses.
Candidates participating in the first round of counselling can now view institute-wise and branch-wise seats. The final matrix replaces the draft version released earlier in June 2026. It will form the basis for seat allotment in the ongoing option entry process.

KCET 2026 Engineering Seat Matrix Highlights
The final matrix lists seats across government, aided, private and university engineering colleges in Karnataka. More than 200 engineering institutions are participating in the KCET 2026 counselling process. Reservation follows Karnataka norms with General Merit, SC, ST, Category 1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B quotas. Seats include the regular CET pool and supernumerary categories, wherever applicable. Candidates must verify the seat count for their preferred college and branch before locking choices.

KCET 2026 Engineering Fee Structure
KEA has fixed tuition fees separately for each category of college. The exact amount payable also depends on the candidate category and the allotted seat type.

The final matrix is the only authentic seat list for KCET allotment. Earlier draft figures may have changed after college approvals from AICTE and the state government. Locking choices using outdated data can lead to lost preferences during the first round.
