KAU Masters Programmes RF Mode Admission 2026 Open Apply by June 12

According to the official admission notification published on the Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) admissions portal, the university has invited applications for its Masters Programmes offered under RF (Research Foundation) Mode for the academic year 2026–27. RF Mode programmes at KAU are distinct from its regular M.Sc offerings in Agriculture, Horticulture, and Forestry, which are filled through ICAR entrance examinations. The RF Mode covers specialised and interdisciplinary postgraduate programmes that are not part of the ICAR All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) process, making them accessible to a broader range of science graduates.

Eligibility Criteria

General eligibility for KAU M.Sc programmes requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from a university recognised by KAU, with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. Relaxation in minimum marks may apply for reserved category candidates as per Kerala Government norms. Previous Year Reference: 2025 RF Mode Programmes

In the corresponding 2025 RF Mode notification, KAU had also included PhD programmes in Animal Science and Applied Microbiology, along with PG Diploma programmes in Bioinformatics, Hi-tech Horticulture, and Nutrition and Dietetics.
