KAU Phase 1 Admission 2024 for BSc (Hons) Agriculture program will be held on Nov 7, 2024 for candidates shortlisted in its KEAM & CUET Provisional Merit Lists.

Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) has announced the schedule for the first phase of admissions to BSc. (Hons.) Agriculture programme for the academic year 2024-25. The provisional rank lists for the candidates who applied through KEAM and CUET have been published on November 3, 2024 on the university’s official website (admissions.kau.in). Candidates listed in these provisional rank lists must report for document verification and payment of the admission fee on 7th November 2024 at the university.

Admission Date and Venue

  • Date: 7th November 2024 (Thursday)
  • Time: 10:15 AM (Candidates arriving after 11:00 AM will not be entertained)
  • Venue: Central Auditorium, KAU Main Campus, Vellanikkara, Thrissur

Provisional Rank Lists

The provisional rank lists for the BSc. (Hons.) Agriculture program are divided into two categories. Tabulated below are the KAU provisional rank lists and rank numbers of candidates who must appear for Admission Phase 1:

KEAM Rank List Candidates ranked 1 to 30

Candidates included in these provisional rank lists are required to attend the admission process in person on the specified date and time. Admission will be subject to the physical verification of documents and fulfilment of eligibility conditions.

Documents Required for Admission

Candidates reporting for admission must bring the following original documents along with sufficient photocopies of each certificate for submission during the admission process:

  1. High school/ Class X/ Matriculation Certificate.
  2. Certificates and grade reports from Class X and XII.
  3. Copy of the original KEAM 2024 Candidate’s Data Sheet or CUET (ICAR-UG) 2024 Rank Card.
  4. Physical Fitness Certificate issued by a Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon.
  5. Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (NCLC) for candidates under SEBC reservation (e.g., Ezhavas, Muslims, OBH, LC/AI, Dheevara, Viswakarma, Other Backward Christians). Note: Non-Keralite and CUET applicants are not eligible for communal reservation.
  6. Community Certificate for SC/ST candidates.
  7. PwD Medical Certificate for Differently Abled (PwD) candidates.
  8. Original Character / Conduct certificate from the Head of the Institution last studied.
  9. Original TC, to be submitted within 3 working days after confirming admission.
  10. Migration Certificate (Original certificate)
  11. Aadhaar Card (Original)
  12. Income and Asset Certificate for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) candidates (original).
  13. Nativity Certificate (Original).

Admission Fee and Payment

All selected candidates must remit the admission fee as specified in the table below. The fee is non-refundable and must be paid via UPI or QR code. Listed below is the fee structure for KAU BSc (Hons) Agriculture Course:

Important Notes

  • Failure to Report: Admission of those candidates who do not report in person on the specified date or fail to submit the required documents or fee will be cancelled. In such cases, the next eligible candidates based on rank and reservation will be given the opportunity to enrol.
  • Fee Concession: Admission is under RF mode, and hence, candidates enjoying communal reservation are not eligible for any fee concession.
