Kashmir University has released the admission notification for the 2-year LL.M Programme for AY 2024. Interested candidates must submit their online applications by December 7, 2024.

Kashmir University LLM Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to take admission to Kashmir University must meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:

• A candidate should have passed LL.B (Professional) or B.A.LL.B (5-Year) from the University of Kashmir or any other UGC-recognized university/institute.
• For Open Merit candidates, a minimum of 55% marks is required.
• For Reserved Category candidates, a minimum of 50% marks is required.

Note: The eligible candidates are required to appear for the Entrance Test at their own expense at the specified centers. The exact date for the test will be notified separately.

How to apply at Kashmir University?

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to apply at Kashmir University:

1. Visit the official websites (kashmiruniversity.net or kashmiruniversity.ac.in)
2. Click on the “Admissions” link
3. Read the Important Instructions before proceeding
4. Enter your “Registration No.” and click “Next.”
5. Enter the required details, upload your latest passport-sized photograph, and click “Next.”
6. If any information needs correction, click the “Previous” button, make the necessary changes, and then click “Submit.”
7. Print the form and note the Form Number for future reference
8. Deposit the non-refundable Application Fee of INR 250 (including INR 150 as IT Fee) and Entrance Test Fee of INR 500 via online mode only

Note: After the submission of the online application form, candidates need not submit a hard copy of the form. However, they must retain it for future reference.

Kashmir University LL.M Document Verification

• The Directorate will not check/ verify the educational/ category certificates etc. of the candidates at the time of submission of the online Application Form
• It is the candidate’s responsibility to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria
• The documents will be verified at the time of Admission at the concerned Department
• The selection of the candidate will be rejected if it is found that the applicant does not fulfill the eligibility criteria or has misrepresented/ suppressed the information
