KEA has released the first-round seat allotment for Karnataka PGCET 2025, check details now.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has officially published the Round 1 seat allotment for the PGCET 2025 counselling cycle. This allotment round was conducted following the mock allotment, option editing window, and merit-based matching of candidate preferences.
Students can now view their provisional and final placement, accept or reject the seat, pay the required fees, and follow through with further admission formalities.

The allotment process was automated by KEA, matching candidates’ submitted preferences with available seats as per the state’s seat matrix and reservation norms.Based on merit rank, category, and preference priority, candidates have been assigned to institutions and courses.
Candidates who accepted their allotted seats will now need to download the admission order, pay the requisite fees, and complete further verification formalities at their allocated institutions.
Those who reject or do not accept the seat may remain eligible for further rounds of counselling (Round 2 or final/casual vacancy rounds) depending on their choices and seat availability.
What Karnataka PGCET 2025 Candidates Should Do Next?
Candidates allotted seats in Karnataka PGCET 2025 Round 1 must log in to the KEA portal to either accept or reject their assigned seats between October 4 and October 7, 2025.
Those who accept their seats under Choice 1 or Choice 2 are required to pay the admission fee.
After completing fee payment, candidates must download their admission order and report to their respective allotted colleges with the necessary documents, particularly for Choice 1 candidates.
Candidates who do not accept their seats or wish to change their allocation should monitor the Round 2 counselling process, where unfilled seats or seat adjustments will be managed.
