Karnataka PGCET 2024: Final Round Counseling Schedule Released for MBA/MCA/M.E/M.Tech/M.Arch

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced important updates regarding the PGCET 2024 counselling process for admissions into MBA, MCA, M.E./M.Tech, and M.Arch courses. This includes the schedule for the final round of seat allotment and an extension for reporting to colleges for candidates allotted seats in the second round. Eligible candidates can make fresh option entries for Karnataka PGCET Final Round Counseling from December 12, 2024, 11 AM onwards. The reporting deadline for second round candidates has been extended till December 12, 2024, 5:30 PM.

Important Points:

• Fresh Option Entry Required:
  • Options entered during previous rounds will not be considered.
  • Candidates must enter new preferences during the specified time.
• Seat Cancellation Deadline:
  • Candidates wishing to surrender their seats from the first or second round must cancel their allotment online by 4:00 PM on December 11, 2024.
  • A cancellation fee of ₹5,000 will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be refunded.
  • After the deadline, cancellations will not be entertained, and no fee refund will be provided.

Extended Reporting Deadline for Second Round Allottees

In light of the passing of Shri S.M. Krishna, former Chief Minister and Union Minister of Karnataka, a statewide holiday has been declared on December 11, 2024.

Extension Details:

• Candidates allotted a seat in the second round and who have completed fee payment now have an extended deadline to report to their allotted colleges.
• New Reporting Deadline: December 12, 2024 (before 5:30 PM).
