Karnataka DCET 2026 Round 1 Option Entry Begins at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in; Check Last Date to Submit Choices

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened the DCET 2026 Round 1 option entry. The Diploma Common Entrance Test choice window is now live. Candidates can submit their choices at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in until July 24, 2026.

The mock seat allotment result will be released on July 24, 2026, at 6 PM on the KEA portal. The mock allotment allows candidates to assess their admission chances before the final seat allotment.

What Happens After the Mock Allotment?

The mock allotment is only a preview of the counselling process. It is prepared based on the candidates’ current choices and the available seat matrix. It does not guarantee a seat in the final Round 1 seat allotment.

KEA will reopen the option entry window from July 24 to July 27, 2026. During this period, candidates can add, delete, or reorder their choices. The DCET 2026 Round 1 final seat allotment result will be released on July 27, 2026.

How to Enter Options for DCET 2026 Round 1?

• Visit the official KEA portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
• Log in using your DCET 2026 user ID and password.
• Open the Round 1 option entry tab on the dashboard.
• Add colleges and courses in your order of preference.
• Save and lock your entries before the July 24, 2026 deadline.

Fee Payment and Reporting Timeline

Selected candidates must complete the admission formalities in early August 2026. The choice selection process will remain open from July 28 to July 31, 2026. Candidates can download the fee payment challan between July 28 and August 1, 2026.

The last date to pay the admission fee is August 3, 2026. Candidates must report to their allotted college and complete the required admission formalities by August 4, 2026.

Action Plan for Candidates

1. Log in at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in with your DCET credentials.
2. Enter and save your college and course choices before July 24.
3. Check the mock allotment result on July 24 at 6 PM.
4. Revise your choices between July 24 and July 27 if needed.
5. Download the challan and pay the fee before August 3.
6. Report at the allotted college by August 4, 2026.
