Karnataka DCET 2026 Registration Begins @cetonline.karnataka.gov.in; Exam on May 23

The KEA has opened the registration process for the Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online till April 3, 2026, for admission to second-year or third-semester engineering courses under the lateral entry scheme.

DCET 2026 is conducted for diploma holders seeking admission to engineering programmes across colleges in Karnataka. The entrance exam is scheduled to be held on May 23, 2026.

According to the official notification, the application process began on March 17, 2026, and includes an online registration-cum-verification module. Candidates must complete the application process and submit the required documents within the stipulated timeline.

The last date to pay the application fee online is April 4, 2026, up to 6:00 PM. Applicants will be able to download their admit cards from May 7, 2026, onwards through the official KEA website.

Karnataka DCET 2026 Dates

The DCET 2026 examination will be conducted in offline mode. The engineering paper will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, while the Kannada language test (for Horanadu and Gadinadu candidates) will be conducted from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM on the same day.
