Karnataka B.Ed Admission 2020-21: Application Form Submission Deadline Extended, Apply by Jan 31, Check Details Here

Karnataka University has started the admission process for Karnataka B.Ed courses for the academic year 2020-21 on the official website i.e. schooleducation.kar.nic.in.

Candidates applying for Karnataka B.Ed admission can submit the application forms before the extended date, i.e., January 31, 2021. The admission will be according to the counselling process. 

Karnatak University prepares BEd Selection List based on the merit of candidates in the qualifying examination and reservation of seats. The list will be displayed online at the official website in the pdf format.

Karnataka B.Ed Admission 2020: Eligibility Criteria 

Karnataka University specifies the eligibility criteria as per NCTE norms, which must be met by the candidate in order to seek admission to B. Ed programs. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria as given below:

• Successful Completion of 10+2+3 (10th + Intermediate + graduation) years of education in order to get eligible for the admission.
• The candidate must have acquired at least 50% aggregate in the Bachelor's degree or the Master’s degree with all the subjects together.
• For the reserved categories, the minimum aggregate required for admission eligibility must be 45% as per the state government rules.
• The candidate must be of minimum 18 years old at the time of admission. However, there is no upper age limit for registering for Karnataka B. Ed Admissions 2020.

Karnataka B.Ed Admission 2020: How To Apply

Candidates should follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for Karnataka B.Ed Admission 2020;

Step 1: Visit the official website at schooleducation.kar.nic.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, navigate and click on the link to apply for Karnataka B.Ed admission.

Step 3: Register online if you are a new user using a contact number, email id and a password.

Step 4: After successful login, fill the application form by entering all the important details including name, father's name, address, educational qualification, etc.

Step 5: Upload relevant documents along with the application form of Karnataka B.Ed admissions 2020.

Step 6: Check all the details mentioned, then click on the submit button.

Step 7: Download and take a printout of the application form for future references.

Karnataka B.Ed Admission 2020: Documents Required 

Candidates while filling the application form need to submit the following documents;

• Reservation claiming caste certificate for reserved candidates
• Scanned Recent Passport Size Photograph in JPG format
• Scanned Signature in JPG format
• For the visually challenged candidates, the candidates need to submit the scanned left thumb impression in the JPG format.
• The candidates belonging to the general category do not need to upload any of the documents.
