JUIT Programs Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for various programs at Jaypee University of Information Technology are listed below:
- BTech Programs
- Only candidates who have passed the 10+2/equivalent exam in 2023, 2024, or who will appear in 2025 are eligible to apply for the program. Candidates must have scored at least 60% (55% for SC/ST) in the 10+2 or equivalent examination and have received a Pass grade.
- BBA Program-
- The candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 60% (55% for SC/ST) aggregate marks or an equivalent grade from a board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education India (COBSE). CUET-UG-2025 qualifying candidates will also be considered for admission to the BBA program.
- BCA Program-
- The candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 55% (50% for SC/ST) aggregate marks or an equivalent grade from a board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education India (COBSE). CUET-UG-2025 qualifying candidates will also be considered for admission to the BCA program.
- MTech Program-
- The candidate must have completed a four-year Bachelor's degree in the appropriate discipline with at least 60% (55% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade point on a 10-point scale from a recognized university or institution. Jaypee University of Information Technology offers admission through the PGET (PG Entrance Test).
- PhD Program
- 1-Year/2-Semester (or 2-year/4-semester) A Master's Degree program after a 4-year / 8-semester Bachelor's Degree program OR a 2-year / 4-semester Master's Degree program after a 3-year Bachelor's Degree program with at least 60% aggregate marks or CGPA not less than 6.0 on a scale of 10 OR 4-Year / 8-Semester Bachelor's Degree program with 75% aggregate marks or CGPA not less than 7.5 on a scale of 10. Consistently good academic record or performance is desirable.
All candidates who are offered provisional admission must provide proof of passing the qualifying examination to the University authorities by September 30, 2025; else, such provisional admission will be automatically cancelled. No requests for date extensions, for whatever reason, will be entertained.
