At the time of document verification, candidates must provide all mark sheets and (ideally) certificates for all examinations passed or degrees received.
Jadavpur University has released a preliminary list of candidates selected for its PhD program for the academic year 2025. Candidates with their names on the list must come in person on March 12 and 13, 2025, for document certification, depending on the department to which they have been admitted.

Applicants whose names appear on the list of selected applicants for the PhD program can view the document verification schedules for their individual departments in the table below:

Jadavpur University Admission Documents Required
Candidates must have the following documents with them on the dates specified for the verification process.
- All mark sheets and (ideally) certificates of all examinations passed or degrees acquired.
- Proof of age, including SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B/PD/EWS certificates (where applicable).
- NET/SET/GATE certificate (where applicable)
- Migration Certificate
- No Objection Certificate
If the documents are not validated and the registration costs are not paid according to the schedule provided on the previous page, the provisional offer of admission to the Ph.D. (Arts) program will be rescinded.
