JNU MBA Admission Begins for Session 2026; Applications Close on March 31

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has commenced the MBA Admission 2026 process for its Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship (ABVSME). Interested candidates can submit their applications online. The last date to apply is March 31, 2026.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree (minimum three years after 10+2) from a recognised university. General, OBC and EWS candidates must have secured at least 50% aggregate marks, while SC/ST/PWD candidates require a minimum of 45%. Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor’s degree may also apply, subject to the fulfilment of eligibility requirements at the time of admission.

JNU MBA 2026 Selection Process

Admission to the MBA programme is based on CAT 2025 scores. Candidates must have appeared in the CAT 2025 conducted by the IIMs and provide valid registration details and scores. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

The final merit list will be prepared based on the following weightage:

• CAT Score – 70%
• Group Discussion – 10%
• Personal Interview – 20%

Intake and Application Fee 2026

The total intake for the MBA programme at ABVSME is 75 seats, and the reservation policies of the Government of India will be followed.

The application fee is INR 2000 for General/EWS/OBC candidates and INR 1000 for SC/ST/PWD candidates (non-refundable).
