JNTUH Placements 2026 Released

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) has officially released its 2025–26 placement statistics, showing strong recruitment across B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc, and integrated dual-degree programmes. The university recorded 600+ placement offers, with technology branches securing the maximum selections and top salary packages.

The highest CTC touched INR 52 LPA, while the average salary stood at INR 6 LPA. The placement drive saw participation from 100+ companies, along with 40+ paid internship opportunities during the current academic cycle.

The latest placement data reflects hiring activity across 22 academic programmes, with 495 students placed out of 853 registered candidates, taking the overall placement rate to 58%. Recruiters showed strong interest in Computer Science, AI & ML, Electronics, and other core engineering branches.

Computer Science and allied branches dominated the placement season. B.Tech CSE (AI & ML) emerged as the top-performing branch with 58 students placed and 74 offers, while securing the highest package of INR 52 LPA. B.Tech CSE recorded 55 offers, with the branch average package touching INR 11 LPA and highest salary reaching INR 30 LPA.

Among other major branches, B.Tech ECE secured 43 offers with a top package of INR 19 LPA, while B.Tech EEE recorded 52 offers with the highest salary of INR 14.5 LPA. Mechanical Engineering saw 39 offers, while Civil Engineering recorded 28 offers.

The Integrated Dual Degree (B.Tech + M.Tech) CSE programme also performed strongly with 46 offers, a highest package of INR 21 LPA, and an average salary of INR 10 LPA. Integrated ECE students received 23 offers, with top salaries reaching INR 19 LPA.

At the postgraduate level, M.Tech programmes across CSE, ECE, EEE, Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgy, and Nanotechnology reported stable placements, with highest salaries ranging between INR 6 LPA and INR 8.5 LPA. The MCA programme also recorded 14 placements, with the top package standing at INR 7.09 LPA.

Compared to previous years, the placement performance shows mixed trends. In A.Y 2024–25, the campus recorded 630+ offers, 110+ company visits, 60+ paid internships, with the highest package at INR 26.35 LPA, average salary at INR 9.4 LPA, and placement rate of 65%.

Earlier, A.Y 2023–24 saw 560+ offers with the highest package of INR 52 LPA, while A.Y 2022–23 also reported 560+ offers with a top salary of INR 24.25 LPA.

Despite a slight dip in overall placement percentage compared to the previous year, the latest data shows stronger top-end salary growth and continued recruiter participation across technical disciplines.

With the placement season still underway, more companies are expected to visit the campus in the coming months. Students are advised to update their resumes, strengthen coding and technical interview preparation, revise core engineering concepts, and keep all academic documents ready for upcoming recruitment drives.
