JNTUA to Conduct FDP on “Recent Trends In Robotics and Automation” from Jan 8-12


New Delhi: JNTUA is all set to conduct a Faculty Development Porgram on “Recent Trends in Robotics and Automation” from January 8-12, 2024. The program wil be organised by Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Department of Mechanical Engineering Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology, Nellore in association with Faculty Development Cell, JNTUA

The FDP is aimed to explore the potential areas and the significance in the fields of robotics and automation, It has been planned to offer the participants, a comprehensive approach for the development in robotics and automation such as advanced controller design, Automation, Trajectory optimization and programming etc.

Teaching faculty of constituent and affiliated colleges of JNTUA can participate in the FDP program. A maximum of three participants can be allowed from a college. A total of 30 participants will be allowed to sit for the FDP Program. 

Prof. G. Ranga Janardhana Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, JNTUA, Ananthapuramu is the chief speaker at the program.

  • Robot Dynamics & Kinematics
  • DSP based Hirarchical Controller for Robotic Arm Controller
  • Modelling and Simulation Techniques for Dynamic Robotic Systems
  • Trajectory Optimization for Robotics Using AI
  • Modelling and control of Robotic Manipulators.
  • Robotic Programming using Adenoid Software
  • Robotic Actuators with practical session with a Humanoid Robot
