JKCET 2026 Round 1 Counselling Begins; Choice Filling from May 25-28

The first round of online counselling for JKCET 2026 B.E./B.Tech admissions have begun. Candidates whose names appear in the provisional merit list declared on May 6, 2026 can now submit their online preferences on the official website JKBOPEE Official Portal.

The JKCET 2026 online choice filling window is open from May 25, 2026 (2:00 PM onwards) to May 28, 2026 (Midnight). Candidates must complete preference submission and pay the ₹1,000 counselling fee within this timeframe to secure participation in seat allotment.

How to Submit JKCET 2026 Preferences?

• Candidates must log into JKBOPEE Counselling Portal using their application number and password.
• Select colleges and courses in order of preference, review selections carefully, and submit the preference form before the May 28, 2026 midnight deadline.
• After submitting online preferences, candidates must pay the non-refundable counselling fee of ₹1,000.
• Payment can be made through debit card, credit card, or net banking on the official portal.
• Candidates should keep a printed copy of the payment receipt for future reference.

Seats will be allotted based on the candidate’s merit rank, category, and preference order. JKBOPEE will prepare separate merit lists for Open Merit, EWS, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PwBD categories.

JKCET 2026 Documents Required for Verification

Candidates must carry the following original documents along with two photocopies of each during verification:

• Domicile Certificate
• Class 10 Mark Sheet
• Class 12 Mark Sheet
• Category Certificate (if applicable)
• JKCET 2026 Admit Card

Candidates who could not upload required documents during the application process may still participate in counselling provisionally. However, all pending documents must be produced at the time of admission if allotted a seat.

JKCET 2026 Seat Matrix Available Before Counselling

The seat matrix showing available seats across colleges and branches will be uploaded on JKBOPEE Official Website before counselling begins. Candidates are advised to review it carefully before filling preferences. Preference submission does not guarantee admission. Eligibility will be verified during final admission. JKBOPEE can cancel admission if any information is found false or fabricated

Candidates allotted seats must report to the assigned college with original documents. Admission confirmation and institute fee payment must be completed within the deadline specified by the respective college.
