JKCET 2026 Answer Key Released for BE and BTech Admission

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released the official answer key for JKCET 2026 B.E/B.Tech admission examination. Candidates who appeared for the exam on April 19, 2026, can now download the answer key from the official website jkbopee.gov.in. The answer key is available for all question paper series, allowing candidates to calculate their expected scores before official result declaration.

JKCET 2026 is a state-level entrance examination conducted by JKBOPEE for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes in Jammu and Kashmir. The examination was held on April 19, 2026, with 180 multiple-choice questions covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

JKCET 2026 follows a specific marking scheme: +4 marks for correct answers, -1 mark for incorrect answers, and 0 marks for unanswered questions. Candidates can calculate their expected score by applying this marking scheme to their responses. The maximum total score is 720 marks (180 questions × 4 marks). Candidates should note that the final score may differ from their calculated score due to official evaluation. The percentile score will be calculated based on the performance of all candidates. Understanding the marking scheme helps candidates estimate their rank accurately.

The official JKCET 2026 result will be declared in May 2026 in the form of a merit list. The merit list will include candidate names, roll numbers, marks obtained, and all-India rank. Candidates can download their scorecards from the official website using their registration credentials.
