JKBOPEE Announces Second/Mop-Up Round of Physical Counselling for Paramedical Diploma Courses 2024

JKBOPEE has scheduled the second/mop-up round of physical counseling for 12th-based paramedical diploma courses in different colleges/institutions under the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It will fill the vacant positions left after the first round of counseling along with seats that have remained unfilled so far.

According to the notification, the mop-up round will be conducted from October 25 to October 29, 2024, at JKBOPEE offices in Srinagar and Jammu. The detailed schedule is as follows:

Important Instructions for Candidates

1. Registration and Attendance:
   • All eligible candidates must report to the JKBOPEE offices in Srinagar or Jammu between 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM on their counselling day.
   • Candidates need to complete registration formalities before the process begins.
2. Required Documents:

   Candidates must carry the following original documents to the counselling session:

   • Domicile Certificate
   • 12th Marks Card
   • Valid Category Certificate (if applicable)
   • Date of Birth Certificate (10th Marks Card)

3. Counselling Fee:
   • Candidates attending counselling for the first time must pay a non-refundable fee of ₹1,000 through POS machines available at the BOPEE offices (via debit or credit cards).
4. Seat Conversion:
   • If reserved category seats remain unfilled, they will be converted into Open Merit (OM) seats as per Section 9(2) of the J&K Reservation Act, 2004.
5. Participation Guidelines:
   • Candidates who have already secured a seat during the first round and joined their allotted institution do not need to participate again unless they seek upgradation.
   • Candidates interested in upgrading their seat must produce the fee receipt from their current institution during registration.
6. Vacancy Tracking and Real-Time Changes:
   • Candidates are advised not to leave the counselling venue prematurely. If a seat becomes available during the process due to cancellations, they can claim it immediately based on merit and preference.
7. Eligibility for Mop-Up Round:
   • Candidates who opted for CNA (Choice Not Available) or SNA (Seat Not Available) or missed the first counselling session can participate.
   • Even those who failed to join their allotted seat after the first round are eligible to participate in this physical counselling.

Seat Matrix and Other Notifications

JKBOPEE will release the seat matrix separately before the counselling begins. All participants are advised to review it carefully to make informed choices during the session.
