NTA extended JIPMAT 2026 registration deadline to May 13, 2026 (11:50 PM) from May 10. The fee payment deadline moved to May 14, and the correction window extended to May 15-17.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced an extension of the JIPMAT 2026 registration deadline on May 10, 2026, in response to multiple requests from candidates. The last date for submitting online applications has been extended from May 10 to May 13, 2026 (up to 11:50 PM). This extension provides additional time for eligible candidates to apply for the Joint Integrated Programme in Management Admission Test. The exam is conducted for admission to the 5-year Integrated Programme in Management at IIM Bodh Gaya and IIM Jammu for the academic year 2026-2027.

The extension was granted after NTA received multiple requests from candidates seeking more time to complete their applications. The revised schedule ensures candidates have sufficient time to fill their forms accurately and submit required documents. Candidates are advised to complete their registration well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues. The correction window allows candidates to modify their application details after submission if needed.
How to Apply for JIPMAT 2026?
Candidates can apply online through the official NTA website at exams.nta.nic.in/jipmat/ by visiting the registration portal. Click on "New Registration for JIPMAT 2026" and enter your basic details including name, date of birth, email, and mobile number. Fill in your educational qualifications, address, and other required information as per the application form. Upload your photograph and signature in the specified format and dimensions as mentioned in the guidelines.
After completing the form, candidates must pay the application fee through credit card, debit card, net banking, UPI, or wallet. The application fee is INR 2,000 for General/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates and INR 1,000 for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender candidates. International candidates applying from outside India need to pay the fee in USD as specified on the portal. After successful fee payment, candidates will receive a confirmation email with their application number and login credentials.

Eligibility Criteria and Requirements
Candidates must have passed Class 12 (or equivalent examination) with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) to be eligible for JIPMAT 2026. Students appearing for Class 12 examination in 2026 can also apply, provided they submit their passing certificate before the specified deadline. Candidates must have passed Class 10 examination to be eligible for the program. There is no upper age limit for applying to JIPMAT 2026.
Exam Pattern and Syllabus Overview
JIPMAT 2026 is a computer-based test (CBT) comprising 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) for a total of 400 marks. The exam is divided into three sections: Quantitative Ability (33 questions), Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (34 questions), and Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (33 questions). The exam duration is 2 hours and 30 minutes, conducted entirely in English medium. Each correct answer carries 4 marks, with 1 mark deducted for each incorrect answer.
