The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has released the Bachelor of Technology (BTech) 2026 Round 1 seat matrix. The document went live on July 7, 2026. It is available on the official engineering counselling portal at engg.jceceb.org.in.

The seat matrix follows the state merit list issued on July 5, 2026. Both are based on the JEE Main 2026 result. Round 1 choice filling is already open on the portal.

• Log in using your registration ID and password.
• Pay the counselling fee if it is still pending.
• Upload the JEE Main 2026 scorecard and confirmation page.
• Open the choice filling section and add institutes and branches.
• Arrange the choices in order of preference and lock them.
• The choice filling window closes at the end of July 9, 2026. A one-day editing window opens on July 10, 2026.

Counselling Rounds and Vacancy Cycle

The JCECE engineering counselling 2026 will run in four rounds. The Round 1 allotment result is scheduled for July 12, 2026. Round 2 will start on July 17, 2026 with a fresh vacancy chart.

Reporting and document verification for Round 1 will run from July 13 to July 17, 2026. Candidates must confirm admission within this window to hold the allotted seat.
