JEE Main 2027 Expected Changes LIVE: Notification Date, Registration Date

• 180 marks in jee mains percentile is expected to correspond to around 99.5–99.6 percentile in JEE Main 2027.
• The latest analysis estimates 171–180 marks at approximately 99.4569–99.5732 percentile.
• The exact percentile for 180 marks in jee mains percentile will depend on the difficulty level, shift-wise performance and NTA normalisation.

• 95 percentile in jee mains rank is expected to fall around 52,000–85,000 for JEE Main 2027, based on recent marks-vs-rank analysis.
• For JEE Main 2026, 95 percentile was estimated at approximately 35,000–75,000 rank, showing that the final rank depends on the total candidate pool and percentile distribution.
• The exact 95 percentile in jee mains rank for 2027 will be available only after NTA releases the final result and All India Rank.

JEE Main 2027 session 1 dates are out and will be conducted on 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30 January 2027. Last year, JEE Main Session 1 exam was conducted on 21, 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29 January 2027.

In case of any changes in the JEE Main 2027 exam, NTA will include the changes in the JEE Main 2027 information bulletin.

• Last year, JEE Main information bulletin was released on 31 October 2027.
• You can expect the JEE Main 2027 information bulletin to be released in the last week of October 2027.

As of now, there is no official notice released by NTA for the change in JEE Main application fee. As per the last year fee, the category wise JEE Main application fee for session 1 is listed below.

NTA has yet to release the exam dates for JEE Main session 2. However, as per the dates from last year, you can expect JEE Main 2027 session 2 to be conducted in the first and 2^nd week of April 2027.

NTA has published the JEE Main 2027 Session 1 exam dates on the official X page on 16 September 2026.

• JEE Main Session 1 will be conducted on 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30 January 2027.
• Official notification for the JEE Main 2027 online applications is yet to be released and is expected in the last week of October 2026.

• The upcoming JEE Main 2027 information bulletin is expected to provide the final details on registration, eligibility, syllabus, fees and exam pattern.
• Any official change announced by NTA will be added to this live update.

• The JEE Main 2027 syllabus will be confirmed through the official information bulletin.
• Candidates should not rely on social media claims about newly added or deleted chapters until NTA publishes the official syllabus.

• NTA's recent JEE Main application process included Aadhaar e-KYC and AI-based face comparison as security features.
