The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to declare the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 results on April 20, 2026. Candidates can download their scorecards from the official portal jeemain.nta.nic.in using their application number and password.

JEE Main 2026 Result Out?

As per the NTA's update on their official X account, NTA is going to release the JEE Main 2026 session 2 result on or before April 20 at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who appeared in the examination can now download their scorecards from the official NTA website at jeemain.nta.nic.in using their login credentials.

Earlier, the NTA released the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Final Answer Key on April 20. The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 examination was successfully conducted on April 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8, 2026 across approximately 566 examination centres in 304 cities nationwide and 14 cities abroad. Around 11.23 lakh candidates appeared in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Key Highlights

  • National Testing Agency released the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Final Answer Key on April 20; candidates can challenge discrepancies before finalization.

How to Download JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Scorecard?

  • They need to log in using their application number and password to view their scorecard.
  • The scorecard displays the candidate's NTA score, percentile, and rank based on the best performance across both sessions.

JEE Main 2026 Cutoff to Rise?

According to various expert analysis, JEE Main 2026 cutoff is expected to rise accross all categories this year. This is expected because of the rise in the number of candidates and improved performance levels among students. 

Based on the analysis by leading coaching institutes, the general category cutoff is expected to cross the 93.5 percentile mark.

What’s Next?

Following the result declaration, the JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) counselling process will commence for admission to premier engineering and architecture institutions across India. Candidates are required to register on the JoSAA portal at josaa.nic.in and participate in the seat allocation process based on their ranks and preferences.

The counselling will include choice filling, seat allocation, and reporting at allocated institutes. Candidates must ensure they have all required documents ready, including their JEE Main scorecard, class XII mark sheet, category certificate (if applicable), and other admission documents as specified by the respective institutes.
