Important Exam Day Guidelines for JEE Main 2025
- Before the Exam:
- Visit the exam center in advance to familiarize yourself with the location.
- Reach 30 minutes before the reporting time.
- Take your admit card, original valid photo ID and all necessary things with you.
- At the Exam Center:
- Write your name and roll number on the given rough sheet.
- Follow all the instructions and do not indulge in malpractice of any kind.

According to the JEE main 2025 paper 1 exam, candidates have to answer the 75 questions divided as follows:
- 25 Physics

Out of the 25 questions on each subject, 20 are MCQs and 5 NATs.

Due to a technical snag at the eTalent Examination Centre (TC Code-40086), No. 3, Belmar Estate, Nagasandra Main Road, Bengaluru, the Shift-I examination on 22 January 2025 was disrupted. Consequently, the examination for 114 affected candidates has been rescheduled to 28 and 29 January 2025. Revised admit cards have been issued.

This year, the JEE Main 2025 session 1 exams are from January 22 to 30, 2025. The paper-wise exams are conducted as follows:

NTA commences JEE Main 2025 Jan 24 Shift 1 exam at 9 AM. This shift will end at 12 Noon.
Canddiates are adviced to wear light and comfortable clothes. Avoid wearing shoes, ornaments, or accessories. This year, the frisking has been very strict and candidates have not been allowed to carry any metal (not even as part of clothing like in buttons) and handkerchief inside the exam center.
