NTA has concluded the Day 4 of JEE Mains 2025 April session today, April 7, 2025. JEE Main 2025 April 7 Shift 2 was conducted from 3 PM to 6 PM and JEE Main 2025 April 7 Shift 1 exam was conducted from 9 Am to 12 noon. Candidates appearing in the exam on JEE Main's second attempt dates – April 7, 8, and 9 can download their JEE Mains Admit Card from jeemain.nta.nic.in 2025 admit card. JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 is conducted in 290 cities across the country and 15 cities outside India.
JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 (April 2, 3, 4, 7) exam have two shifts from: Shift 1 from 9 AM to 12 PM and Shift 2 from 3 PM to 6 PM. The April 8 and 9 exams will have only the first shift from 9 AM to 12/12.30 PM. Around 9 lakh candidates have registered for JEE Mains 2025 session 2 exam.
NOTE: JEE Main Session two admit cards must be dropped in the designated drop box while leaving the JEE Main exam hall. NTA said the answers would not be evaluated if the candidates failed to deposit their admit cards.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2 papers are expected to be moderate, with a combination of easy, moderate, and tough questions. It is expected that
- Physics will carry approximately 25% of the overall questions
- Chemistry will carry about 30% of the overall questions
- Mathematics will carry approximately 45% of the overall questions

Exam Day Guidelines for JEE Main 2025
Following these essential guidelines for JEE Main 2025 exam ensures a smooth exam experience:
Before the Exam:
- Visit your designated exam center a day in advance to avoid any confusion.
- Arrive at the center at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on your admit card. Late entry is strictly prohibited.
- Carry essential documents, including a clear printout of your admit card and a valid photo ID.
On the Exam Day:
- Ensure you write your name and roll number on the rough sheets provided, and return them to the invigilator before leaving.
- Accurately fill out the attendance sheet with your signature, left-hand thumb impression, and photograph in the specified areas.
- Stay composed, and prioritize sufficient rest the night before to perform your best.

What to Carry to the Exam Center
- Admit card with Self-Declaration form (printed on A4 size paper)
- A transparent ballpoint pen
- An additional photograph (for the attendance sheet)
- Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml)
- Transparent water bottle
Note: Diabetic students are permitted to carry essential eatables such as sugar tablets and fruits (e.g., bananas, apples, oranges) along with a transparent water bottle. However, packed food items like chocolates, candy, and sandwiches are not allowed.

Candidates reported that the JEE Main April 7 Shift 2 paper was moderately difficult.
NTA has concluded Day 4 exam for JEE Main 2025 on April 7 at 6 PM. The paper analysis and qoestion paper will be released based on the candidate’s feedback.
As per students' feedback and reviews, JEE Main 2025 Session 2 is moderately difficult than JEE Main 2025 Session 1, held in January
- Mathematics: In Session 2, Mathematics questions are more lengthy and calculation-based, whereas in Session 1, they were more formula-based.
- Physics: Session 2 includes questions with multiple concepts and more calculations, whereas Session 1 was more NCERT-based.
- Chemistry: Chemistry has questions from NCERT in both sessions, but in session 2, physical chemistry has more numerical-based questions.
Also, in Session 2, candidates faced a shortage of time as there were lengthy math and multi-step physics questions.
Based on the JEE Main marks vs percentile data, it is expected that 280-300 score ranges in the 99-100 percentile, which places candidates in the top 1% and get the opportunity of getting admission to premier institutions like the IITs and NITs, particularly for highly competitive branches such as Computer Science and Electronics.

NTA starts the JEE Main 2025 April 7 Shift 2 exam. This shift will continue till 6 PM.
