Entry will not be permitted without these documents. Candidates should reach the centre well before 8:00 AM. Late arrivals will not be allowed inside the hall.

Who Should Appear for AAT 2026?

AAT 2026 is only for JEE Advanced 2026 qualified candidates. It is mandatory for B.Arch admission at IITs. The test is conducted at IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee.

The exam evaluates aptitude in freehand drawing and geometrical drawing. It also tests three-dimensional perception and architectural awareness. Questions assess imagination and aesthetic sensitivity.

Why This Matters

AAT is the only gateway to B.Arch programmes at IIT Kharagpur and IIT Roorkee. A JEE Advanced rank alone does not secure architecture admission at these IITs. Clearing AAT is mandatory for seat allocation through JoSAA counselling.
