Why JEE Advanced Matters?
JEE Advanced is the next step after JEE Main if you want admission into IITs. Only the top-ranked candidates get this chance, so even qualifying for it is a big deal.
Your score in JEE Advanced decides whether you can get into IITs and which branch you may get. Since IIT admissions happen only through this exam, missing it means missing out on that option for this year. The competition level is also very high. Last year, around 1.87 lakh candidates registered for JEE Advanced, while only about 18,000 seats were available across 23 IITs - showing how competitive the exam really is.
In simple terms, if you’re aiming for IIT, this is the exam that actually decides your admission.
