The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee has announced the registration schedule for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026. As per the official notification, the online registration process for JEE Advanced 2026 will commence on April 23, 2026, through the official website, jeeadv.ac.in.
Eligible candidates will be able to submit their application forms until May 2, 2026. The last date for fee payment by registered candidates is Monday, May 4, 2026.

JEE Advanced AAT 2026 Schedule
JEE Advanced AAT (Architecture Aptitude Test) is a qualifying aptitude examination conducted for candidates seeking admission to the B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) programmes offered by the IITs.
AAT is generally conducted in pen-and-paper mode with a duration of three hours and no negative marking. The AAT result is used only to determine eligibility, and final admission is based on a combination of the JEE Advanced rank and AAT qualification.

JEE Advanced 2026 Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the JEE Advanced 2026 exam, candidates have to appear for the JEE Main and qualify for the cutoff. Apart from that, they should be born on or after October 1, 2001. Five years of age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates, and these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1996.
The entrance test will be held in computer-based mode and will consist of two compulsory papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both papers will assess candidates’ understanding of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

As per the previous year's data, the JEE Advanced qualifying cutoff is expected to be between 35% to 40% for the open category candidates, whereas the Opening & closing ranks can differ according to various IITs and branches.
