The JEE Advanced 2026 exam website has gone live, and it now hosts the JEE Advanced 2026 exam date.

The exam dates for JEE Advanced 2026 have been announced, with the test scheduled for May 17, 2026. This year, IIT Roorkee has been appointed as the conducting institute for the examination. The exam will be held in computer-based (CBT) mode across India and in select international cities.
The complete schedule and list of exam centres will be released soon on jeeadv.ac.in. As per the established format, the exam will comprise two compulsory papers: Paper 1 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and Paper 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates from JEE Main 2026 will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2026. Candidates can refer to the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 results to check the cutoff required for qualification. Last year, 2,50,236 candidates qualified to take the JEE Advanced examination.

To be eligible for the JEE Advanced 2026 exam, candidates have to appear for the JEE Main and qualify for the cutoff. Apart from that, they should be born on or after October 1, 2001. Five years of age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates, and these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1996.
